Carmel Rolls

I've been craving a good carmel roll ever since I moved away from home.  I just wasn't able to find any around here so I had to take matters in to my own hands.  Lucky for me, I have connections to the family bakery :)  I don't have all the connections though so I had to come up with my own recipe for the actual rolls.  One of my friends gave me a bread baking book for Christmas so I used a sweet roll recipe from that.  I have to say I was a little disappointed because it called for lemon extract and it made the rolls taste a little funny.  But other than that, the carmel was exactly as I remembered!  Noah and I invited over some friends and had a good time serving carmel rolls for brunch.
