Misconceptions

I have no idea why I thought I would be better at blogging after the baby was born.  I think I was under the assumption that since I would have more to blog about, I would actually do it.  Now I'm realizing that even though we have things to blog about, having a little one around doesn't necessarily mean you will have the time to do it.  Even when you do have a little extra time, I find that blogging is not on the top of my to do list.  It generally gets moved down the list because of laundry or dishes or supper or any number of other things to keep the house somewhat in order.  So I sincerely apologize for not keeping up with the blog that well. I will try harder to post at least a few more pictures.

We celebrated Christmas just the three of us here at home.  Since our mothers came right after the baby was born, we didn't have any company for the holidays.  Next year we will hopefully be able to be with some family again.  Maybe we will even get to enjoy a trip to ND for the holidays since it has been quite a few years since we've done that.  I think 2008 was the last Christmas that I was home for.

Other than staying here for the holidays, not too much is going on.  We did get our first set of shots yesterday so we've been nursing the fever that came with that.  So many new things to learn and experience being a parent.
